Joe Himelick, CLU, ChFC, MSFS
President and OSJ Principal
Joe Himelick is the Managing and Founding Partner of Himelick Financial Group. His clients represent a wide range of professional perspectives and backgrounds. Existing clients represent an average tenure of approximately 20 years. In many instances, the client relationship has extended to multiple generations.
Of note, in working with prospective or existing clients, he works diligently in developing a deeper understanding of the clients objectives. A critical part of that process, are the efforts made to monitor goals and refine actionable steps as life and economic events evolve. Another important part of his work with clients is the alignment of the clients objectives and next steps with the rest of their Financial Team (accountants, attorneys and other specialists). Financial Planning after all is a dynamic process, whose complexities require synergistic efforts and relationships.
His education background includes an MSFS (Masters of Science in Financial Services), ChFC, and CLU designations from the American College. He also has an undergraduate degree from Taylor University. His commitments to the progress of the industry and the advisors who work within it have prompted his participation in multiple advisory boards. An extension of that effort has been speaking engagements across the country to address advisors and clients alike as to the planning and implementation issues that they face.
When not working he enjoys golf, gardening, and hiking with his wife Pat. Given the 50 plus years their combined business efforts with clients reflect, it is not surprising that they take pride in the advice they have provided during complex times and an ever changing economic environment.
